CEO & Founder of HOMEPLEX: Ari is passionate about closing the gap in California’s 1.3 million missing housing units by showing people how to build multigenerational wealth though income property ownership. Ari has co-founded three real estate tech companies, ran the acquisitions team for a large affordable housing office, and developed, managed and sold residential, multifamily and commercial properties.

Director of Operations: With 4 years of hands-on experience as an ADU builder, our Director of Operations brings a wealth of practical knowledge to the forefront of HOMEPLEX’s operational strategies. Fueled by a passion for refining systems and processes, he has established himself as an effective leader who is deeply invested in the success of our projects and teams. Design Director: Mario is a realtor passionate about transforming properties into unique living spaces. With a background in architecture and interior design, he offers a creative approach to buying and selling homes.

Michael Bernier

Outdoor Design Director Founder and lead designer of Michael Bernier Design, a prominent landscape and exterior design firm based in Los Angeles, California. With a background as an advertising Creative Director, Michael’s passion for landscape architecture led him to establish his own firm, where he has designed and managed the installation of over 100 projects. Drawing from his extensive experience, Michael launched the Think Outside Landscape Design Academy to share his knowledge with a broader audience through online courses and workshops.

Sean Branam

Director of IT & Cyber Security: With over 25 years in the industry, Sean is the glue that keeps all of our systems safe and operating smoothly every day. He is the guy you don’t know you need until something isn’t working, don’t ask him how he fixed it, just be glad he did.

Project Roadmap Team Lead: As our Lead Researcher with 8 years of expertise in real estate and construction, Jahzeel (“Jazz”) is the go-to ADU regulations authority at our firm. Known for his solutions-oriented mindset, Jazz excels in deciphering complex housing puzzles. In addition to his regulatory prowess, he plays a pivotal role in crafting our ADU Project Roadmaps, ensuring each project is guided by thorough research and strategic planning.
