9/5 UPDATE: $25 Million Proposed By California For ADUs! Thanks to the collective advocacy efforts of CCEDA, Casita Coalition, and other advocates for the grant program, $25 million has been proposed for the upcoming 2022-23 budget by Asm. Ting to fund new ADU initiatives in California. After much success with the initial $100M, we remain hopeful that CalHFA will allocate these added funds to extend the current $40k ADU Grant Program. In January 2022 the California Federal Housing Agency (CalHFA) created a $40,000 grant to help you build an ADU
